What Is Pico Genesis?
PICO Genesis, which was originally developed as a solution for tattoo removal, is a new approach to treating both hyperpigmentation issues (such as melasma) and skin revitalization by building collagen and toning skin with virtually no downtime.
How does it work?
This method combines the benefits of two highly effective wavelengths in ultra-short pulses to cause an intense, non-thermal, photo mechanical disruption and remodeling of the upper dermis.
How would I benefit from PICO Genesis?
The treatment produces a brighter, more uniform complexion in fewer treatment sessions than standard methods. Other traditional methods often rely on high-intensity laser treatments which generate painful heat, significant skin redness and downtime. Pigment particles are very small and dense, and they are often difficult to remove. They are also problematic when damaged by heat and surrounding tissues can be damaged, which is why high-intensity lasers are not optimal treatments for pigmentation issues.
