BBL Forever Young
Interested in a treatment that can slow down the appearance of your aging clock and keep you looking forever young?
BBL Forever Young treatments are new and innovative technology that has completely redefined the standards for treating and rejuvenating the skin. No longer are you forced to suffer from skin conditions associated with aging, active life-styles, and sun damage.
A Stanford University study reveals that BBL technology can actually restore gene expression of aged human skin to resemble much younger skin. View the video below or visit www.foreveryoungbbl.com for more information on this remarkable technology.
Clinically proven, it turns back the clock by addressing the visible signs associated with aging skin.
What is BBL?
BBL (broadband light) energy allows precise treatment fine wrinkles, age and sun spots, small facial veins and several other skin blemishes. Forever Young BBL is a special technique used with the BBL that removes unwanted brown and red areas while stimulating new collagen.
The light energy delivered by the BBL will gently heat up the upper layers of your skin. The heat absorbed by the targeted areas will stimulate your skin cells to generate new collagen. This will help restore your skin to its natural beauty, blending its natural colors and making it smoother, vibrant and younger looking. In addition, the photothermal energy will target and eliminate many of the fine vessels that cause redness and the unwanted melanin responsible for pigmented lesions.
A Forever Young BBL treatment is treatment with 3-4 separate filters targeting different depths within your skin addressing each issue separately instead of a general overall treatment as with IPL.
The net effect of this treatment is a brighter face (minimizing red lines and brown spots) and slowing down of collagen and elastin breakdown in your skin, minimizing sagging skin and volume loss. The result is a slowdown in skin aging. This has been scientifically evaluated by pathology, blinded studies and scientific data by a well-known and respected dermatologist in California, Patrick Bitter, MD.
The Evidence:
Pathology: under the microscope, the changes associated with sun damage are reversed and collagen and elastin replace the damaged dermis. Large dilated blood vessels become normal size.
Blinded study: Dermatologists guessed the ages of patients based on photos without knowing whether any treatment had been performed. The dermatologists were accurate on the before treatment pictures. In the after-treatment pictures (treatment over 8 years), the dermatologist rated the patients to be 9 years younger than their actual age. Visually, the treated patients looked younger. See study below.
Scientific data: Different proteins are active in young skin vs older skin. Genetic mRNA evidence shows a reversal to a more youthful protein profile after a series of treatment with the Forever Young BBL technique. See study below.
What conditions can be improved with BBL?
- Pigmented Lesions (freckles, age spots, melasma)
- Vascular Lesions (small blood vessels, cherry angiomas, rosacea and other micro-capillary flushing conditions)
- Acne
- Skin laxity
- Lines and Wrinkles
- Uneven Skin Texture

BBL FAQ
What areas can be treated with BBL?
Any area of your body can be treated. The most popular treatments are on the face, neck, back of the hands, chest and shoulders.
Can tan skin be treated with BBL?
BBL targets pigment therefore cannot safely be used on sun exposed skin or sunless tanned skin. The area to be treated must have a minimum of 4 weeks without sun exposure prior to treatment. Spray tans and self-tanners must be faded for a minimum of 10 days.
How many BBL treatments will I need?
All treatment plans are personalized based on your unique skin and level of improvement you desire. Because of this the number of treatments required can vary depending on what your skin needs treated to reach your goals. Typically, 3-6 treatments are completed 4 weeks apart.
What does a BBL treatment feel like?
Once treatment begins you will briefly feel a warm sensation as the light is absorbed by the targeted areas. Some associate this feeling with a light “rubber band snap”. The treatment is well tolerated by most.
How long does a BBL session take?
The procedure may only take a few minutes, or up to a half hour depending on the area being treated and the type of procedure.
What should I expect after a BBL treatment?
Immediately after the treatment, you will experience some redness that will resolve within only a few hours. Pigmented lesions that have been treated will darken and flake off gradually over the next week or two. Treated skin will often feel smoother, with less noticeable fine lines and pores. Sunspots and uneven pigmentation will also begin to fade. Results may vary depending on your unique skin, area being treated, and the number of treatments performed. Your technician will provide you with all the necessary information for post treatment care.
How long will it take to recover?
There is virtually no downtime, and, in most cases, you can return to work and even apply makeup immediately. Skin can look sunburned for about a week, and some brown spots might appear darker before they fade away. Makeup can be used to minimize the appearance of dark spots.
When will I see results?
Results start to become apparent after 1-2 weeks. The full result of the treatment should be assessed after one month.
What do I need to know before my first BBL treatment?
No sun exposure one month before or one month after during your series of BBL treatments.
Scientific evidence demonstrates regular maintenance treatments using Forever Young BBL functionally rejuvenates skin and delays skin aging.
