When it comes to intimate health, do you wonder, “is this normal?” ;

  • Trouble making it to the bathroom in time
  • Fear of coughing, sneezing or laughing in public
  • Painful intercourse
  • Loss of interest in sex

A healthy vagina is one thing you probably aren’t thinking about daily. But when things stop working like they used to, it is hard to ignore. Feeling less-than-yourself can interfere with your daily life, your routines and your relationships. Feeling confident in the intimate area of your life is important to your overall health, sense of well-being and self-esteem. Gone are the days of having to settle with dissatisfaction regarding your vaginal health.

Introducing diVa

Utilizing revolutionary Hybrid Fractional Laser Technology to provide independent levels of ablation and coagulation, as well as varying levels of density. Allowing providers to customize the treatment based on the patient’s desired results. The system allows providers to deliver the treatment with increased accuracy, consistency, and decreased procedure time. This technology ensures treatments are uniform, predictable, fast and safe for every patient. Other products require lengthy treatments that may cause physical discomfort and embarrassment. The diVa combines efficacy, safety, and shorter treatment time than other technologies currently available. After childbirth, women may notice that the vaginal canal and surrounding tissue has been stretched. Many women notice decreased sexual satisfaction and decreased ability to hold urine in.

Similarly, menopause, hysterectomy, chemotherapy and breast-feeding can reduce estrogen levels, which may result in thinning, drying, or inflammation of the vaginal walls. For many women, this may decrease vaginal lubrication and lead to discomfort.

diVa discreetly and comfortably addresses women’s most intimate challenges, restoring self-assurance, vitality and sensuality. Sciton, the makers of diVa, recognizes that not all female health problems are the same and diVa gives technicians more treatment options. For example, procedures can be customized for pre-menopausal women who need a different treatment than post-menopausal women.

Utilizing Sciton’s proven HALO™ dual fractionated laser technology, diVa delivers both ablative and non-ablative wavelengths to the same microscopic treatment zone, allowing for highly customizable procedures. The first laser deeply resurfaces the layers of the vaginal wall, facilitating replacement with brand new, healthy tissue, while the second laser heats the layers of the tissue, which further triggers an inflammatory response to promote healthy cellular activity in the skin.

The diVa Procedure

The diVa laser vaginal therapy treatment should only take about 3 to 6 minutes. You may feel a slight pressure against the walls of your vagina and possibility some sensitivity at the opening of the vagina. A topical anesthetic can be applied for your comfort, though most women are comfortable without an anesthetic. During your treatment, a single-use applicator is rotated through the vaginal canal as the laser delivers different pulses to reach different layers of tissue. Ideally an initial course of 3 diVa laser treatments spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart, followed by an annual maintenance treatment.

Who is a Good Candidate for diVa:

A good candidate for diVa™ is interested in a non-surgical resurfacing treatment that can improve vaginal health. Women who have had children or who are going through or beyond menopause are excellent candidates for this treatment. A private consultation gives you a chance to talk about your concerns and desired outcome from the treatment and to learn about how diVa may be right for you.

After a diVa Treatment:

You can get back to your normal routine right after your diVa laser vaginal therapy appointment, although you should abstain from using tampons and sexual intercourse for 48 hours after your treatment. You may experience some spotting, discomfort or discharge for the first few hours following treatment. Because laser vaginal therapy stimulates collagen production, your results should develop over the next several weeks as your tissue regenerates. Many women notice a change after their first treatment with continued improvement after each treatment.
